My stay at Vacation Village in the Berkshires was overall a mix of enjoyable and frustrating moments. The location is fantastic, right across from Jiminy Peak, which made skiing super convenient. The unit was spacious and suited my family's needs well, but its furnishings were a bit outdated and the staff didn’t seem particularly friendly or attentive. The cleanliness of the facilities was hit or miss, and some amenities felt neglected, which was disappointing.

Rooms
6.0
The unit was spacious, offering a separate living room and a well-stocked kitchen, though it felt a bit outdated with some issues like chipped fixtures. The cleanliness could have been better, as some dishes were dirty at check-in.
Service
5.0
Interaction with the staff was not very positive overall. While the front desk was efficient, other staff displayed a lack of enthusiasm and friendliness, which detracted from the experience.
Location
8.0
Being so close to Jiminy Peak was a huge plus for me, with stunning views of the slopes. The area also offers various outdoor activities and cultural sights within a short drive, adding to its appeal.
Dining
6.0
The resort didn't have an on-site restaurant, which meant I had to look for nearby food options, but there were several restaurants and cafes within a short drive, which helped.
Facilities
6.0
The indoor and outdoor pools were clean, but I noticed a lack of supervision in the evening at the outdoor pool, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere at times. The overall facilities felt a bit dated and could use some maintenance.

My stay at Vacation Village In The Berkshires was full of ups and downs. The spacious unit was very well maintained and comfortable, especially with the cozy living area and full kitchen. However, I did encounter some issues with the service, which left me feeling a bit frustrated at times. Overall, the beautiful surroundings and excellent amenities, like the indoor pool, made my experience enjoyable despite some shortcomings.

While the staff was friendly and accommodating, my interaction at check-in felt somewhat disorganized. I had to handle a minor issue with bedding myself, which was disappointing.

The resort is nestled in beautiful surroundings, with easy access to cultural sites, quaint towns, and amazing views of the Berkshire Mountains. I enjoyed several scenic drives during my stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Vacation Village In The Berkshires, appreciating the spacious accommodations and the cleanliness of my unit. However, the outdated furniture and some maintenance issues were a letdown. The proximity to Jiminy Peak is fantastic for winter sports enthusiasts, but I was surprised there was no shuttle service to the ski area. Overall, it's a good spot for a quiet getaway, especially if you're looking to relax in nature.

Rooms

The 2-bedroom unit was spacious and clean, but the furniture felt a bit outdated, especially the sofa bed which was uncomfortable. I loved having two TVs and a gas fireplace, but some appliances, like the coffee pot, needed replacing.
Service
6.0
The staff was generally polite and helpful. I had to report a shower door issue, and while they promised to send someone, it didn't get addressed promptly before my check out. I felt they could improve customer service and responsiveness.
Location
8.0
The resort is conveniently located near Jiminy Peak, making it easy to hit the slopes. The surrounding beauty is stunning, but it's a drive to find grocery stores or restaurants. Close by, I found outdoor activities such as hiking trails and parks, which were great for a scenic getaway.
Dining
7.0
While there were no on-site dining options, I appreciated having a well-stocked kitchen. It allowed us to prepare our meals comfortably, though I missed having a breakfast option available in-house.
Facilities
7.0
I enjoyed the clean outdoor pool area and the availability of grills for cookouts. However, a few of the indoor amenities, like the hot tub and game room, were closed during my visit, which was a disappointment.

The location near Jiminy Peak is fantastic for winter sports. I enjoyed visiting local attractions like the Norman Rockwell Museum and Shaker Village.

While the resort has cooking facilities, nearby dining options are a bit of a drive, which may be inconvenient unless you're planning to cook.

The indoor pool and available amenities like movie rentals were enjoyable. However, I found the fitness center lacking in equipment diversity.

I had a good stay at Vacation Village In The Berkshires. the resort was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The spacious unit we stayed in had a well-equipped kitchen and beautiful views, which made our experience enjoyable. However, I did notice some aspects needing improvement, like the outdated televisions and the temperature control upon arrival.

The unit was spacious and clean with modern appliances, though the old analog TVs were disappointing. The bathroom layout seemed small for adults, and the walls were quite thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighbors.
